6.8. THEATRE SPEJBL & HURVINEK - PRAGUE

The Spejbl and Hurvinek Theatre was founded by Professor Josef Skupa (1892 - 1957) in 1930 in Pilsen, West Bohemia. This was the world's first modern professional marionette theatre. The Theatre has performed in 31 countries of four continents, including Germany, USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, India, Egypt, Jordan, Mexico and Spain.

6.9. LATERNA MAGICA - PRAGUE

Every foreigner longs to watch on their own a performance of this experimental ensemble which is considered to be a unique Prague experience. The Laterna Magica offers The Wonderful Circus, Odysseus, Casanova, The Trap and more.

6.10. BLACK THEATRE - PRAGUE

Come to the Black Theatre to laugh, to be entertained and even to think
a little. The Theatre offers shows "Miss Sony", "Anatomy of the Kiss", "Quo Vadis" and others.

6.11. IMAGE BLACK LIGHT THEATRE - PRAGUE

The Image Theatre blends Black Theatre, Pantomime and modern Dance. The Theatre offers shows, such as "Cabinet", "Clonarium", "The best of Image".

6.12. MUSICALS - PRAGUE

William Shakespeare - Hamlet, Monte Christo, Johanka from Arcus and many others performed in the Congress Centre or in the Kalich Theatre.

6.13. TA FANTASTIKA - PRAGUE

TA FANTASTIKA Black Light Theatre was established in 1989 thanks to
an incidental meeting between Petr Kratochvil, who just returned from his ten-year stay in the USA, and Pavel Marek whose PanOptikum Black Light theatre company had been active in Prague since 1983.

6.14. CZECH SONGS AND DANCES ENSEMBLE

The biggest Czech professional folk ensemble in original costumes performing dances, music and songs from the Czech national heritage in Prague, Straznice Festival and elsewhere in the Czech Republic.

6.15. KRIZIK FOUNTAIN - PRAGUE

The Krizik Fountain is without a doubt a unique creation in Europe. Its performance is operated by water running through a complex system of many water channels, the operation uses 50 pumps and 3000 jets. The color effects are combined with the music of classical and modern composers, including Rusalka (water nymph) by A. Dvorak, Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky and 1492-Conquest of Paradise by Vangelis. The performances are a profound experience for visitor from many countries.

6.16. MUSIC CLUB - PRAGUE

The biggest Music Club in Central Europe. Ground floor - Alternative scene cafe, including gengress-jazz, blues, funk, rock'n roll etc. 1st floor - a paradise for disco styles. 2nd floor - the music from the sixties through the eighties. 3rd floor - the best techno, house, break beat, DJ's from the Czech Republic and abroad.
